Congratulations the Brenda and Philip on their wedding.
I was delighted to be asked to be part of this beautiful wedding which took place at Borris House in Co. Carlow.
Borris House is the ancestral home of the McMorrough Kavanaghs, High Kings of Leinster, Borris House is one of the most beautiful and historic Irish country houses located in the most spectacular scenery Ireland has to offer.
What makes this venue unique is that the couple are invited to stay not just for the day but for the weekend. The full wedding can be catered for as it has a church on the grounds. In this case Brenda and Philips friend married them in what could only be described as a marriage celebration with music and dance.
Stand out features are the history of the house, its blossoms leading up to the church, the sword that cut the cake, the stair ways leading up to the vintage rooms and the long tables for dinner. I love these beautiful photographs and equally beautiful wedding film that will get you right in the feels.
